The aluminum honeycomb Alumafly and Alumasuperfly cores used in the top of the line Burton Method, Vapor, and T6 provide a super light weight and strong core with plenty of pop. Although the boards are rugged, they are not an ideal choice for jibbing because the aluminum core can dent. The Vapor is not as stiff as the T6, making it more appropriate for most riders. The Burton Custom and Custom X are high end wood core decks. The Custom is more flexible and may offer a better ride speeding down the bumps, but the Custom X is the more maneuverable board with really tight performance for precision shredding.
